Bellator reveals welterweight tournament bracket

Bellator’s welterweight Grand Prix will give MMA fans coveted matchups right out of the gate.

On Monday, Bellator revealed the entire bracket for the entire welterweight Grand Prix.

In the first round, current welterweight champion Rory MacDonald will take on veteran welterweight Jon Fitch. MacDonald’s title will be on the line in every fight of the tournament. However, all fight will be five-rounds regardless of championship status.

Before Macdonald competes in the Grand Prix, he will challenge middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi at Bellator 206 on Sept. 29.

Perhaps the most tantalizing first round fight will feature bitter rivals Paul Daley and Michael Page facing off after years of verbal sparring.

Former champions Lorenz Larkin and Andrey Koreshkov will kick off the tournament at Bellator 206.

Bellator 206 will be the first Bellator event to be made available on the DAZN streaming platform.

Neiman Gracie vs. Ed Ruth
