Conor McGregor made news when he called WWE wrestlers “f—in’ p—-s” in his UFC 202 conference call. Some pro wrestlers have responded. Former NFL player and recent WrestleMania main eventer Roman Reigns replied…
Your the size of my leg. Shut up. https://t.co/fBVEdf8hE1

Then he added…
You’re* sorry grammar geeks, Smh.

Other wrestlers have chimed in, mostly taking digs at his size. Kurt Angle said on Twitter: “Very funny little guy. Why don’t you get your head out of Dana White’s ass.” MVP said: “The way Nate Diaz Stockton slapped you or nah?”
McGregor “clarified” his comments in a follow-up Tweet after being blasted by WWE fans and other wrestlers.
I didn’t mean no disrespect to the @wwe fans. What I meant to say was that I’d slap the head off your entire roster. And twice on Sunday’s.

Keller’s Analysis: Making fun of McGregor’s size is not a particularly sound counter-argument, although McCregor’s initial quote wasn’t the high road, either. The best wrestler response was from Sasha Banks, who wrote “Bring it.” Will we see Sasha Banks vs. Conor McGregor at WrestleMania next year? And speaking of grammar geeks, Roman’s punctuation could use a little work in his “sorry” message. I’d suggest: “‘You’re,’ not ‘your’… Sorry, grammar geeks. SMH.” Just sayin’. And in fairness to Roman, Conor’s follow-up Tweet put an apostrophe in “Sunday’s” that didn’t belong, and he hasn’t apologized and corrected himself yet. And as for that notorious double-negative… SMH!
