UFC 200 Medical Suspensions: Miesha Tate, several others out up to six months pending doctor’s clearance

Several fighters from Saturday’s UFC 200 event will be out of action for up to six months due to injuries suffered on the card. Miesha Tate’s brutal loss to Amanda Nunes resulted in a badly broken nose that needs to be cleared in order for her to return. Travis Browne suffered a wrist injury that requires clearance; Sage Northcutt needs his elbow checked out off a win over Enrique Marin, and Raphael Assuncal and Diego Sanchez are dealing with facial injuries that require clearance in order to be cleared to return.

The full list of suspensions, as emailed to MMATorch this week, are below:

-Miesha Tate: Broken nose must be cleared by doctor or no contest for 185 days; minimum suspension 60 days with no contact for 45 days
-Mark Hunt: Suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days
-Anderson Silva: Suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days
-Frankie Edgar: Suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days due to facial laceration
-Travis Browne: Right wrist must be cleared by doctor or no contest for 185 days; minimum suspension 45 days with no contact for 30 days
-Raphael Assuncao: Must have nose x-rayed and cleared by a doctor or no contest for 185 days
-Enrique Marin: Suspended 60 days with no contact for 45 days
-Sage Northcutt: Left elbow requires x-ray or no contest for 185 days; minimum suspension 45 days with no contact for 30 days
-Diego Sanchez: Right orbital and nasal fractures must be cleared by doctor or no contest for 185 days; minimum suspension 45 days with no contact for 30 days
-Thiago “Marreta” Santos: Suspended 60 days with no contact for 45 days
-Takanori Gomi: Suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days
