UFC 200 was short on extremely memorable or iconic moments, certainly not bringing anything the likes of what was seen at UFC 100, but a couple images captured at the event may live on from the Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar bout. UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor was in the crowd for the fight, and he was standing and watching intently as it unfolded, allowing the following two shots to be taken:
For me the lasting image will be this one. Conor McGregor looking on as Aldo and Edgar battle it out. Epic. #UFC200 pic.twitter.com/JVLrnjbXTB

McGregor is expected to return to featherweight before the end of the year after his UFC 202 rematch with Nate Diaz next month.
Penick’s Analysis: Those are two fantastic shots, and there’s something further to help build the eventual rematch between McGregor and Aldo. It doesn’t need much to be a massive fight given what’s already there between them, but there’s just something so compelling about McGregor staring that fight down the way he was. There’s unfinished business there, and after UFC 202 that will make for a great title fight in New York in November.
