Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 89 broadcast drew an average of 964,000 viewers to Fox Sports 1, according to a report from SportsTVRatings.com.

The main card broadcast aired in a later timeslot than normal for the UFC following a live Nascar event from 10:53PM ET-1:35AM ET. Nevertheless, 964,000 viewers is a strong rating for FS1 and the UFC, and shows solid interest in the return of Rory MacDonald against Stephen Thompson in that night’s main event.

In other weekend MMA ratings, Bellator 156 drew the lowest rating for the organization on Spike since Bellator 98. The Marcos Galvao vs. Eduardo Dantas headlined event drew 482,000 viewers on Friday night. Meanwhile, the World Series of Fighting came in at 126,000 viewers on NBCSN for their Friday night card, headlined by a heavyweight bout between Blagoi Ivanov and Josh Copeland.
