Rose Namajunas hopes to take another step towards a second shot at the UFC Strawweight Championship next month, as the UFC announced late Monday that she’ll take on rising contender Karolina Kowalkiewicz at UFC 201 in Atlanta.

The 23-year-old Namajunas has won three straight fights since her loss to Carla Esparza for that title out of The Ultimate Fighter 20. Improving increasingly from fight to fight, Namajunas has defeated now-Invicta Champ Angela Hill, Paige VanZant, and former Invicta foe Tecia Torres in succession.

Kowalkiewicz has been impressive through two UFC fights so far, defeating both Randa Markos and Heather Jo Clark by decision. The 30-year-old remains unbeaten in her MMA career, boasting a 9-0 record into the July 30 event.

UFC 201 marks the UFC’s first trip to Atlanta in over four years, and the card will be headlined by a UFC Welterweight Championship bout between Robbie Lawler and Tyron Woodley.
