UFC 198 CONTESTS: Prediction and Betting Game Results
UFC 198 proved to be what we all thought, a brilliant card on paper but a difficult fight card to predict throughout. Five underdogs prevailed with the biggest surprise of the night going to Bryan Barberena with his unanimous decision win over Warlley Alves, which in turn cost every player a truck load of points. Mix that in with another four underdog victories and a draw, this wasn’t a night for big scores and heavy profit returns in the betting game.
Let’s see how you all got on and the results of the 2nd round World Cup.

CONFIDENCE GAME RESULTS
Sean Simpson (45 points) beats Scott Pipher (44 points) to retain the MMATorch Confidence Picks Champion.
This was anything but plain sailing for the champion Sean who found himself trailing Scott the whole event and going into the main event. Only a victory for Miocic would see Sean retain his title, whilst Scott needed Werdum to win to become the new MMATorch Champion. We didn’t have to wait long to found out – just over two minutes in fact – for Miocic to become the new UFC Heavyweight Champion, and for Sean to come away with an unlikely victory and his title.
Jaymon1002 (55 points) will step up next to challenge Sean at UFC 199, predicting 9/12 fights correctly Jaymon1002 was by far the best player on the night with his nearest rival was David Lindahn who scored (52 points). The rest of us had nights to forget!
Well done Jaymon1002.

David Lindahn managed to extend his title run with a routine victory over James Brown. David may want to thank the judges in Brazil for his victory after Rua’s dubious decision over Anderson played a major part in deciding the winner of this contest.
Next up for David will be Eugene Kim who returned $1987.50 with hefty returns on Miocic and Nogueria which was enough to top the pool. Mark Sacchetti wasn’t far behind on $1853.33, whilst no players were about to hit a parlay and in turn, profits suffered.
