Alistair Overeem, Stefan Struve, and Germaine de Randamie sent the partisan Dutch crowd into a frenzy on Sunday at UFC Fight Night 87, and each were rewarded with a $50,000 bonus for their efforts.

Those three, along with Gunnar Nelson, were awarded “Performance of the Night” bonuses after the event, with the UFC skipping out on awarding a “Fight of the Night” to any one particular bout.

Overeem’s bonus came from his second round TKO over Andrei Arlovski in the night’s main event. It was a thrilling finish to the event, with Overeem landing a big jumping front kick under Arlovski’s jaw, then sending him down in a heap with an immediate follow-up left hook. He delivered a few more punches on the ground, but with Arlovski simply turtling up and covering his face, the fight could have been called when he went down.

Struve needed just 15 seconds to score his TKO win over Antonio Silva in the co-main event, dropping “Bigfoot” with an excellent combination in the first exchange, then putting him out with a run of elbows to the side of the head while defending a takedown. It was all over before it started, and gave Struve his best looking win in years.

De Randamie was given an over-matched opponent in Anna Elmose, and she came out looking great as a result. After dealing with Elmose’s attempts at getting the fight to the ground early, de Randamie took control with some excellent clinch work, and finally dropped Elmose with a knee to the body in the midst of a brutal late series of attacks. The first round win gave her an image boost in the women’s bantamweight division, and will move her on up the ranks.

As for Nelson, the Icelandic welterweight looked fantastic on the ground against Albert Tumenov, completely controlling him and scoring significant offense from the mount position. He eventually got back mount position, locked on a rear naked choke over Tumenov’s chin, cinched the hold tight, and forced the tap.
