An exciting featherweight bout between Doo Ho Choi and Thiago Tavares is coming to The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale this July, according to a report from Korean site SpoTV.

Choi has been fantastic in two appearances in the Octagon thus far, taking out Juan Puig in just 18 seconds in his debut and needing just over a minute more to take out Sam Sicilia in his second appearance. The 25-year-old’s two UFC bouts were separated by a year layoff, and he now makes his quickest turnaround between fights since 2013.

He’ll put his 14-1 career record up against a mostly successful veteran in Tavares, a lightweight turned featherweight who has won two of three appearances in the 145 lb. field. The 31-year-old picked up his most recent victory in November of last year, submitting Clay Guida in just 39 seconds in Brazil.

The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale emanates from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on July 8, headlined by the Women’s Strawweight Championship bout between Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Claudia Gadelha. It airs live on Fox Sports 1 as part of the UFC’s International Fight Week.
