The back and forth between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier continued over Twitter on Monday night, with Jones first responding to Cormier’s retort to a fan.
“I’m rich, I’ll be fine”? Now we are lashing out at fans? How about you answer my question https://t.co/8DsUIvyJNK

— Jon Bones Jones (@JonnyBones) April 5, 2016

Penick’s Analysis: It’s not good that Cormier at times makes himself come off worse in these exchanges than the man who was in a hit and run accident and was just in jail last week. Jones is childish in the sexist responses in his own right, but Cormier continues to project this sense that Jones remains very much in his head. There’s too much dislike on his end and it makes him react irrationally at times. That doesn’t bode well, and if he can’t keep that in check when the fight finally does happen, then he’s only going to have himself to blame for a second loss. It hurt him in the first fight, it won’t help him in the second.
