With Miesha Tate capturing the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship, there are more fighters than just Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm angling to get a shot against her.
On top of the list is Cat Zingano, who defeated Tate in their respective UFC debuts, and she called out the new champ on Twitter after UFC 196.

Penick’s Analysis: Zingano hasn’t fought since getting armbarred by Ronda Rousey in 14 seconds last year. That’s a significant difference from Tate winning four straight to get another shot at the title. Before Zingano can be calling for a title fight, she’s got to get back in the cage, and she’s got to win a fight. A three year old win over Tate isn’t by itself deserving of that title shot, and though she’d make a valid challenger with another win or two, she’s simply got work left to do.
