The UFC has added a few more fights to their April 10 Fight Night event in Croatia, though the event is still without a headliner.
New fights announced this week see Mairbek Taisumov welcome Damir Hadzovic, Timothy Johnson take on Marcin Tybura, Alessio Di Chirico meet Bojan Velickovic.
Four of those fighters are newcomers to the UFC, with only Johnson and Taisumov having competed previously inside the Octagon. Taisumov’s gone 4-1 in the organization, and was supposed to make his sixth appearance in December in Las Vegas before visa issues pulled him from the event. He’s won three straight into this card, stopping Marcin Bandel, Anthony Christodoulou, and Alan Patrick in a row. Now he’ll welcome Hadzovic, who has won six straight fights into this debut, including five straight stoppage wins.
Johnson, who stopped Shamil Abdurakhimov in his UFC debut, dropped a decision to Jared Rosholt in his most recent outing. Poland’s Tybura is an M-1 Global vet bringing a 13-1 overall record into his debut.
Finally, Di Chirico and Velickovic both make their first appearances inside the Octagon against one another. Italy’s Di Chirico is undefeated at 9-0, while Serbia’s Velickovic enters after taking out Benjamin Smith in the main event of RFA 34 last month.
The current lineup for the UFC Fight Night 86 card in Zagreb, coming to UFC Fight Pass, is below:
- Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Ruslan Magomedov
- Jan Blachowicz vs. Igor Pokrajac
- Bojan Mihajlovic vs. Francis Ngannou
- Nicolas Dalby vs. Bartosz Fabinski
- Timothy Johnson vs. Marcin Tybura
- Alessio Di Chirico vs. Bojan Velickovic
- Damir Hadzovic vs. Mairbek Taisumov
