Melvin Guillard has a new opponent for Bellator 149 later this month following an injury to Mike Bronzoulis. The organization announced on Tuesday that Guillard will now face Derek Campos on the main card on Spike.
Guillard made his Bellator debut last August, breaking his hand badly during a fight with Brandon Girtz that he lost by split decision. That loss was his third in his last four fights, and he lost another six months due to the injury. He’ll take on Campos, who has the same record in his last four fights. He steps in on short notice after his own loss to Girtz, which came by knockout last November.
The fight joins the Feb. 19 card in Houston, which will be headlined by the third fight between Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie.
