UFC 195 Medical Suspensions: Three fighters out up to six months, Lawler and Condit get two month terms

The Nevada Athletic Commission has handed out medical suspensions to fighters out of the UFC 195 event last Saturday night in Las Vegas, with three fighters out up to six months due to issues arising out of the event. Headliners Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit were not among them, as they received just two months after their five-round battle.

The NAC emailed the list of suspensions to MMATorch on Monday.

The three men out up to six months are Kyle Noke, Dustin Poirier, and Sheldon Westcott, who each left the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas with ailments requiring attention. Each must be cleared by a physician before they can return to action.

The full list of medical suspensions is below:

  • Robbie Lawler: Suspended 60 days with no contact for 45 days
  • Carlos Condit: Suspended 60 days with no contact for 45 days
  • Andrei Arlovski: Suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days
  • Kyle Noke: Suspended 180 days pending clearance of fractured nose; minimum suspension 30 days with no contact for 21 days (left elbow strain)
  • Drew Dober: Suspended 30 days with no contact for 21 days
  • Scott Holtzman: Suspended 60 days with no contact for 45 days
  • Dustin Poirier: Suspended 180 days pending clearance of fractured nose; minimum suspension 45 days with no contact for 30 days
  • Joseph Duffy: Suspended 30 days with no contact for 21 days
  • Joe Soto: Follow-up exam with retinal specialist required by May 1
  • Edgar Garcia: Suspended 30 days with no contact for 21 days
  • Sheldon Westcott: Suspended 180 days pending clearance of left knee and right hand (following X-rays on both); minimum suspension 30 days with no contact for 21 days
