A new light heavyweight matchup has been added to Bellator 149 next month, with a rematch between Emanuel Newton and Linton Vassell completing the five-fight main card for Spike, according to a report from MMAFighting.com.

The two met at Bellator 130 in October of 2014 when Newton was the organization’s Light Heavyweight Champion, and that was Newton’s final successful title defense as he submitted Vassell in the fifth round. Since that fight, he’s lost two straight, losing the title to Liam McGeary before getting submitted by Phil Davis in the one-night only light heavyweight tournament at Bellator “Dynamite 1.”

For his part, Vassell has split his last two fights since that loss, stopping Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou at Bellator 134 before dropping a decision to Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal in that same “Dynamite 1” tournament.

Bellator 149 hits Houston’s Toyota Center on Feb. 19, and the main card will also feature the third fight between Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie, “Kimbo Slice” against “DaDa 5000,” Daniel Pineda vs. Emmanuel Sanchez, and Melvin Guillard vs. Mike Bronzoulis.
