Only six fighters received medical suspensions this week out of Saturday’s UFC on Fox 17 event.
The Florida State Boxing Commission suspended Donald Cerrone, Junior dos Santos, C.B. Dollaway, Josh Samman, Cole Miller, and Luis Henrique for issues stemming from the event in Orlando, with only Miller potentially out more than 90 days. The featherweight is out indefinitely after a nasty eye poke injured his left eye and brought an unfortunately early end to his fight with Jim Alers.
Cerrone, dos Santos, Dollaway, and Henrique each received their suspensions due to stoppage losses by strikes on the card. The full list of medical suspensions out of the event is below (via MMAJunkie.com):
Donald Cerrone: suspended 45 days for TKO loss
Junior dos Santos: suspended 30 days for TKO loss
C.B. Dollaway: suspended a minimum of 60 days for KO loss and indefinitely pending CT scan and doctor clearance
Josh Samman: suspended 30 days for contusions to face and hard bout
Cole Miller: suspended indefinitely pending ophthamologist clearance of left eye
Luis Henrique: suspended 90 days pending neurological clearance
