Two women’s bantamweight fighters will be trying to bounce back from recent losses this February, as the UFC announced this week that Sarah Moras will meet Lauren Murphy at UFC Fight Night 82 in Pittsburgh.
Moras entered the UFC out of The Ultimate Fighter 18, losing to eventual show winner Juliana Pena in the semifinals. She won her UFC debut in less than impressive fashion, and spent a year out before dropping a fight to Jessica Andrade in July.
As for Murphy, she’s had two tough fights in the UFC thus far, dropping decisions to former title challengers in Sara McMann and Liz Carmouche. The former Invicta FC Bantamweight Champion had been undefeated prior to that stretch.
UFC Fight Night 82 hits Pittsburgh’s Consol Energy Center on Feb. 21, airing live on Fox Sports 1. No headliner is yet set for the event.
