Holly Holm added an extra $100,000 to whatever cut she may have negotiated for UFC 193, as she earned a double bonus for “Performance of the Night” and “Fight of the Night” for the event.
Her head kick KO finish of Ronda Rousey came in front of an announced record UFC attendance of 56,214, a shocking finish that few expected to actually happen, but one which has shaken up the landscape of the UFC. Rousey receives an extra $50K in the loss for her half of the “Fight of the Night” award.
Kyle Noke scored the other “Performance of the Night” bonus, taking his $50,000 off a fantastic body TKO off a front kick. The blow landed square to the ribs of Peter Sobotta, sending him crashing to the canvas in agony.
