Next month’s Bellator 145 event has gotten a featherweight shift, as Pat Curran is out with a knee injury. According to a report from MMAJunkie.com, Curran will be replaced by Emmanuel Sanchez in a fight against Justin Lawrence on the card.

Curran halted a two fight losing streak against Sanchez in his last outing, taking a decision at Bellator 139 in June. The knee injury setback for Curran now gives Sanchez a chance to make it a quick two wins in a row after his own bounce back win over Henry Corrales last month.

The 25-year-old Lawrence has been coming into his own after two losses in the UFC sent him out of the organization, as he’s won four straight fights into this event. That includes a quick first round TKO win over Sean Wilson in his Bellator debut, which came at Bellator 138 in St. Louis in June.

Bellator 145 comes back to St. Louis on Nov. 6, headlined by a Bellator Featherweight Championship bout between Patricio “Pitbull” Freire and Daniel Straus.
