Undefeated English welterweight Michael “Venom” Page returns to action later this month, and now he’s got an opponent for the Bellator 144 card from the Mohegan Sun.
The organization announced Monday that Page will face Charlie Ontiveros on the main card, which airs live on Spike on Oct. 23.
Page, 28, is undefeated thus far in his eight-fight career, winning seven of those fights in the first round. The most recent of those came in this same arena in July, where he knocked Rudy Bears out in just over a minute.
Ontiveros is 6-3 in his career thus far, with all nine of his career fights coming in the Legacy FC organization. He makes his Bellator debut at 24-years-old off a win in August.
That fight rounds out the four-fight main card for Bellator in their return to Uncasville, Conn., which will be headlined by the Bellator Bantamweight Championship rematch between Marcos Galvao and Eduardo Dantas. The event also features a Middleweight Title bout between Brandon Halsey and Rafael Carvalho, as well as a welterweight bout between Brennan Ward and Dennis Olson.
