WWE Superstar “Stone Cold” Steve Austin says he’s looking forward to both Conor McGregor’s next fight and Ronda Rousey’s next fight. He’s concerned about Rousey and whether the sport has passed her by, but also checks that concern because of Nunes’ cardio.

“Golly gee, son of a gun, with the way Ronda kind of imploded after that loss to Holly Holm, and she’s a high-level competitor with Olympic judo,” he said on last week’s PWTorch Livecast. “I’m anxious to see her come back against Amada Nunes. Oooh, she’s a bad stick of wood. If it goes past two rounds, she may gas, but man she’s got heavy hands and quick hands. She’s dangerous, she’s very dangerous… I’m really impressed with what Ronda Rousey was able to do. Holly Holm had the perfect blue print to defeat her. To see her come back, has the game passed her by? She’ll always be a badass tough woman, but does she have what it takes to make a comeback and take that belt back? That’s going to be a big selling pay-per-view and I’m going to be one of the people that buy that pay-per-view to see what Ronda can do. I wish her all the best. I think she’s been badass and she’s been wonderful for the sport of MMA and UFC.”

He is a fan of McGregor as a fighter and a showman. He and McGregor share in common popping big PPV buyrates for the companies they worked for. “As far as Conor McGregor goes, I love the way that kid fights, I love the way he puts on a show, I love the way he promotes fights,” he said.

I asked him which fight he’d watch if he could only watch one of them. “I’m a big Conor fan. But Ronda, for her importance to the sport, to win all those matches, to finally lose that last fight and finally make a comeback, Amanda Nunes is going to be tough,” he said. “We saw what happened against Holly Holm. Holm had badass striking and Ronda wasn’t quite ready for that. It was a different ballgame, and Amanda Nunes is a real good athlete too. On my interest level, I’m going to go Rousey.”
