The UFC has revealed the cast list for the 24th season of The Ultimate Fighter, going a gimmick route with 16 flyweights who are champions in their respective regional promotions.
Two former UFC competitors in Tim Elliott and Damacio Page rank among the field, with the Titan FC Flyweight Champ and Legacy FC Flyweight Champ, respectively, vying to get a shot at UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson.
The season will be coached by top flyweight contenders Joseph Benavidez and Henry Cejudo, both of whom have fallen to Johnson in the past. Those two will square off on the Finale card in December, while the tournament winner will meet Johnson on that same card.
