Analysis: No doubt about it there. Archuleta won that fight easily. Chael asked him what he needs to do to get a title shot so he may be on deck for Pitbull.

(2) Kristina Williams vs. Bruna Ellen (Flyweight)

ROUND ONE: Williams holds a win over Heather Hardy. Ellen is 22 and significantly shorter than Williams. That said, she reached up and landed a nice punch. Williams landed a right kick. Result: 29-28, 30-27, 30-27 Kristina Williams by unanimous decision.

Analysis: That was a fun fight. Ellen was probably the more polished fighter but Williams did more to take the decision on my card. Williams could be the next contender at flyweight after MacFarlane and Letourneau in a couple of weeks.

They officially announced MVP vs. Paul Daley on Feb. 16 as part of the welterweight grand prix tournament.

Result: 30-27, 29-28, 29-28 David Rickels by unanimous decision

Analysis: I’m a little surprised by the 30-27 card but the right guy won. This was a very competitive fight and either guy could have won. Rickels is a fun fighter to watch and always puts on a good show in and out of the cage. His record isn’t the best but he’s one of those guys you always want to have on your shows to keep them exciting.

Result: John Salter by submission at 4:32 of round one

Analysis: Not the result I was expecting but a very nice win for John Salter here. He had a significant reach disadvantage but was still able to get inside, take him down and sink in the choke, all with relative ease.

Overall, a fun, short Bellator show. The top three fights are all worth a look if you have it on your DVR or want to check out a replay on Bellator.com or DAZN.
