UFC FIGHT NIGHT 127 PREDICTIONS 3/17: Grocke’s updated odds & predictions for every fight

BY MICHAEL GROCKE, MMATORCH EDITOR

The UFC begins their international tour with a stop at the O2 Arena in London, England for UFC Fight Night 127. The main event takes place in the heavyweight division where Fabricio Werdum takes on Alexander Volkov.

Werdum enters the fight riding a two-fight winning streak. He took out Walt Harris with an armbar at UFC 216 and most recently he decisioned Marcin Tybura at UFC Fight Night 121. In his twenty-three pro victories, the forty year old Brazilian boasts eleven by submission to go along with six via (T)KO. A win here most likely gets Werdum back in the title mix.

Alexander Volkov enters Saturday night’s bout riding a ton of momentum. The twenty-nine year old Russian has won his previous five fights. His most win came at UFC Fight Night 115 where crumbled Stefan Struve in the third round.

The co-main event features a battle of light heavyweights when Jimi Manuwa goes up against Jan Blachowicz. Manuwa suffered a stunning knockout loss at the hands of Volkan Oezdemir forty-two seconds into his UFC 214 fight. Blachowicz enters the fight the winner of last two fights. His most recent win came at UFC on FOX 26 where he took a unanimous decision over Jared Cannonier.

The four-fight main card also includes Tom Duquesnoy against Terrion Ware and Leon Edwards vs. Peter Sobotta.

The entire card can be seen exclusively on Fight Pass. The early prelims start at 12:45PM CST with the main card beginning at 4PM CST.

Here are the current odds and my predictions for each fight.
