Who will win Saturday’s fight between Leon Edwards and Gunnar Nelson?

Sean Covington, Columnist – Covington’s Corner

I’m going to take the gamble on Gunnar Nelson; I’ll call this one a hunch I guess. I don’t have any scientific facts are backing just a gut feeling that may be severely incorrect haha. It’s gonna be a good fight no matter the outcome but I’m calling Nelson in a stunning come from behind/out of nowhere victory.

Frank Hyden, Columnist – The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

I’ll go with Edwards by decision. This fight will either be really exciting or pretty boring and as much as I hope this doesn’t happen, I think this becomes a boring fight. I want to be wrong really badly, but I think we get a slow-paced affair with a lot of stalling that Edwards takes by decision. It might even be a split decision, but I think this is a bit of a dud.

Gunnar Nelson really impressed me in his last fight with Alex Oliveira. If that Gunnar Nelson shows up in London, it’s going to be a tough night for Leon Edwards. Leon Edwards is on a good run, but I don’t think he’ll be able to handle Nelson on the ground. I expect Nelson to get the fight to the ground early and eventually submit Edwards in the second round.
