Result: Victor Nemkov def. Phil Davis via Split Decision

Analysis: Phil Davis just never seemed to really get going. He didn’t seem interested in taking the fight to the ground until the third round and it likely cost him. Big win for Nemkov though and he could be looking at a title shot soon.

Haim Gozali vs. Ryan Couture (Welterweight/170)

Result: Ryan Couture def. Haim Gozali via Unanimous Decision

Analysis: It was a very slow fight at first but once Couture got going he was dominant. Not much else to say really. Gozali is 45 years old and he looked like it after the first round or so.

Sanchez gets back to his feet and he’s still doing what he can, but he appears to be exhausted. 10-9 Pitbull

Result: Patricio Pitbull Freire def. Emmanuel Sanchez via Unanimous Decision

Analysis: It was a good back and forth fight but something about this card was just lacking. Pitbull seems serious about wanting to fight Jose Aldo but until something changes with the contracts that’s impossible. In the meantime he will look to defend his Featherweight title again soon.
