BELLATOR NEWS: Bellator’s Heavyweight Tournament match-ups are set

Quentin “Rampage” Jackson vs. Chael Sonnen will get the tournament started when they square off against each other at Bellator 192 on January 20. Bellator 192 takes place at The Forum in Inglewood, California and is headlined by Douglas Lima vs. Rory MacDonald.

The second bout takes place on February 16 in Uncasville, Connecticut where Roy Nelson takes on Matt Mitrione. Fedor Emelianenko is scheduled to face Frank Mir sometime in April at the All-State Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. The winner of Fedor-Mir will face the winner of Rampage-Sonnen.

Ryan Bader vs. Muhammad “King Mo” Lawal will close the first round of match-ups sometime in May at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The winner will take on the winner of the Nelson-Mitrione fight.
