Daniel Cormier didn’t waste much time taking a shot at Jon Jones on Wednesday after the announcement of their UFC 200 main event booking, taking to Instagram to post the following:

Cormier will attempt to avenge his UFC 182 loss to Jones in this main event, which comes to pay-per-view from the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 9.

Penick’s Analysis: Cormier’s got to tell himself whatever he needs to in order to boost the belief that he can beat Jones. He failed the first time out, has admitted he doesn’t know exactly what it takes to beat Jones, but still enters this event as the technical champion. He’s going to need as much confidence as he can muster, and he’s got that without question, but even he can’t believe it’s going to be “light work” in this rematch.
