The simple black and white color scheme to the UFC’s current deal with Reebok has led to very little variety inside the cage. Some minor changes are coming, with the Sports Business Journal revealing the addition of some new colors slated to launch at UFC 200.

Penick’s Analysis: It’s something. Not much, but it’s something. They should have had this from the outset, because the simple black and white setup has made each event, each fight, look exactly the same, and even a few other options would have made things more palatable. The overall design is still lacking, and this doesn’t change things at all, but hopefully the 2017 “revolution” brings something a lot more interesting overall.
