Peter Sobotta has been forced out of a fight with Dominic Waters at UFC Fight Night 87, and Leon Edwards has stepped in to replace him.

The UFC announced the change on Wednesday morning.

The 24-year-old Edwards has gone 2-2 in his UFC run thus far, sandwiching a two fight winning streak in 2015 between two decision losses against Claudio Silva and Kamaru Usman. Of his two wins, Edwards scored one highlight reel win with an eight second KO over Seth Baczynski.

Waters gets one last chance to secure a win in the Octagon, as he lost both of his appearances in 2015. After a decision loss to George Sullivan, he was knocked out by Dong Hyun Kim in his second fight.

UFC Fight Night 87 hits Rotterdam in The Netherlands on May 8, headlined by a heavyweight bout between Alistair Overeem and Andrei Arlovski.
