Heather Jo Clark returns after 17-month layoff to meet Karolina Kowalkiewicz at UFC Fight Night 87

17 months after a successful UFC debut, Heather Jo Clark will return to the Octagon this May at UFC Fight Night 87 in a matchup against Karolina Kowalkiewicz.

The UFC announced the bout on Monday for the debut event in Rotterdam, their first ever in The Netherlands.

Clark made her debut out of The Ultimate Fighter 20’s strawweight tournament, defeating teammate Bec Rawlings by decision. That moved her to 7-4 overall, and was her second straight win.

Kowalkiewicz made a successful debut in December, putting forth an impressive performance over Randa Markos to keep her perfect record intact. The 30-year-old will try to move to 9-0 on her career in this matchup.

UFC Fight Night 87 airs live on Fox Sports 1 on May 8, headlined by the heavyweight bout between Alistair Overeem and Andrei Arlovski. The current lineup is below:
