Marlon Moraes retains WSOF Bantamweight Title with first round leg kick TKO at WSOF 28

Marlon Moraes once again retained his WSOF Bantamweight Championship on Saturday night, lighting up challenger Joseph Barajas’ leg with kicks and forcing a TKO from said attack just 1:13 into the opening round.

That fight capped off the WSOF 28 event on NBCSN, which also saw Chris Gutierrez take a somewhat surprising split over Timur Valiev. In other action on the four-fight main card, Jamie Yager scored a slick straight armbar over Daniel McWilliams from a scarf hold position just 38 seconds into the fight, while Ozzie Alvarez defeated Andrew Ramm via unanimous decision in the televised opener.
