Michael Bisping reacts to Yoel Romero’s USADA violation, calls for title shot when he defeats “Anderson ‘Viagra’ Silva”

Michael Bisping has fought more than his fair share of drug users throughout his time in the UFC, so it’s not surprising in the least that he’d have some thoughts on the news that Yoel Romero had an out of competition drug test sample flagged for a violation.

Bisping took to Twitter for his reaction, and turned it back towards his fight with another fighter coming off a drug test failure, Anderson Silva.

Penick’s Analysis: If Bisping beats Silva next month in London, they may as well give him a shot on principle. It’s crazy how many in this particular division have failed tests or have been suspected of use, and given how many Bisping himself has fought, then why not throw him a bone even if it’s not necessarily entirely earned? This test failure for Romero is a mess and completely throws a bomb into the field.

  1. Tim Kennedy should get it before Bisping. Both should be behind Jacare. Both should be behind Weidman (and maybe Jacare should be as well).

And that’s without introducing Belfort into the conversation…

  2. With this division being such a mess now, I favor a Weidman rematch over anything else. Maybe he can be the JDS to Rockhold’s Velasquez.
