An injury to Michael Graves has taken him out of next week’s UFC Fight Night 80 event in Las Vegas, but has opened a spot for his American Top Team teammate Nathan Coy.

The UFC announced on Monday that the 37-year-old Coy will step in to face Danny Roberts on the card, which airs live on UFC Fight Pass from The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on Dec. 10.

Coy, a veteran of Strikeforce and Bellator, among numerous regional promotions, took part in this year’s “ATT vs. Blackzilians” season of The Ultimate Fighter alongside Graves, splitting the two fights he had during the season. He makes his UFC debut more than a year and a half after his most recent professional bout, a KO loss to Adam McDonough in Bellator’s tenth season welterweight tournament.

He’ll meet Roberts next Thursday night, who makes his UFC debut with an 11-1 career record. The English welterweight has won five straight fights in the Cage Warriors Fighting Championships organization; he returns himself after a significant layoff, as his most recent bout was in in May of 2014, where he scored a first round KO over Bellator vet “Judo” Jim Wallhead.

UFC Fight Night 80 will be headlined by the strawweight bout between Paige VanZant and Rose Namajunas.
