New Champ Holly Holm on UFC 193: “This is a priceless moment and I could not have done this on my own”

New UFC Champ Holly Holm is still coming to terms with what she did on Saturday night, and in a post to Instagram on Monday night, she expressed her gratitude to all who helped her prepare into her bout with Ronda Rousey at UFC 193.

Best feeling in the world. Still trying to process and take it all in. There aren't enough words to express what I am feeling. Thank you @ufc for the opportunity and most of all thank you to my team for believing in me. All the hours in the gym and all the years of dedication to help me get to this moment. This is a priceless moment and I could not have done this on my own. @mmacoachwink its been 17 years and one hell of a ride. Let's see where it goes from here! Penick’s Analysis: Holm is enjoying the moment, and deserves any and all praise directed the way of her and her team. She looked great from the opening, knew what was coming from the unbeaten champion, dealt with everything brought at her, and dictated how the fight played out. It was excellent, it was shocking, and she earned that title in every sense. Once again, big congratulations to the new champ.
