Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm had a heated staredown today at weigh-ins ahead of their headlining bout tomorrow night at UFC 193. Check out an on-stage perspective of the moment courtesy of Dana White’s Twitter below:

Rousey went off on Holm in her comments to Joe Rogan on stage after the staredown, calling Holm’s demeanor up to that moment an act.

“I just wanted to get in her face and show her that I was there for a reason,” Rousey said (transcribed by MMAJunkie.com). “She’s the one that put the fist on my face. I didn’t touch her – she’s the one that touched me. And I told her that fake, sweet act, I see right through it. I really do. It was all fake, all until now. All that ‘respect,’ all the being sweet, it was fake, and you’re going to get it on [Saturday]. You’re not the first person that thought you had the perfect plan to beat me. You’re not the first time your camp thought that they had the perfect plan to beat me. I’m going to show you on [Saturday] why I’m the champ.”

Penick’s Analysis: Intense moment that’s sure to bump up what was already going to be a very good buyrate tomorrow. There’s been a lot of respect shown back and forth, but a switch was flipped here, and that’s going to make tomorrow night quite interesting. Not that it wasn’t already, but it ramps up the drama a little bit more.
