In addition to the Ross Pearson vs. Francisco Trinaldo bout added to the UFC Fight Night 81 card this January, a light heavyweight bout between Ilir Latifi and Sean O’Connell has been added as well.

The UFC announced the bout on Thursday.

Latifi made his UFC debut on short notice in 2013 against Gegard Mousasi, but after that loss he’s gone on to win three of his next four fights. He most recently knocked out Hans Stringer in July, bouncing him back from a TKO loss to Jan Blachowicz.

O’Connell lost two straight upon entering the UFC last year, but he’s gotten back on track himself with consecutive wins in 2015. Both came by TKO, as he stopped Matt Van Buren in the third round before finishing Anthony Perosh in the first round in May.

UFC Fight Night 81 hits the TD Garden in Boston, Mass., on Jan. 17, headlined by the UFC Bantamweight Championship bout between T.J. Dillashaw and Dominick Cruz. The card airs live on Fox Sports 1.
