Dana White would prefer to not see McGregor box

It was a big surprise to some people when Dana White allowed Conor McGregor to box Floyd Mayweather. Don’t expect to be surprised again. White has stated that while he was impressed with McGregor’s performance, he is in fact an MMA fighter, so he should stick to MMA.

Cole’s Analysis: If the money is right, and the interest is there, I would not be surprised to see McGregor in a boxing ring again.

UFC fight late replacement for Germaine de Randamie

The UFC has found a replacement to step in and fight Marion Reneau after Germaine de Randamie was forced to pull out. Talita de Oliveira has agreed to step in and face Marion Reneau at UFC: Rotterdam. De Oliveira is a 5-1 Brazilian fighter and currently riding a 4-fight win streak.

Cole’s Analysis: Talita de Oliveira is taking this fight on very short notice, but it’s always nice to see people take these opportunities.

Mayweather-McGregor official purses released

Floyd Mayweather made a disclosed salary of $100,000,000 for his victory over Conor McGregor who made $30,000,000.

Cole’s Analysis: Both men will be eating well or a while.
