Italy’s Venator FC held their third event on Saturday, highlighted by two fights featuring controversial figures in Rousimar Palhares and Jason “Mayhem” Miller. Both fighters were taken out in the fight, with Palhares shockingly losing in just 45 seconds in the main event.
On suspension in the U.S., the now-former WSOF Champ was stopped by a flurry of strikes from Emil Weber Meek, while Miller – after missing weight by 24 lbs for a fight with Luke Barnatt – got submitted by new opponent Mattia Shiavolin. Additionally, Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou knocked out fellow UFC vet Matt Hamill in just 37 seconds.
