Kevin Holland vs Michal Oleksiejczuk
Holland has lost 4 of his last 6 fights, he is a character but he may very well be on the hotseat. He hasn’t been nearly as exciting to watch as he was a couple of years ago. That is why I believe Holland is going to do his best to win the fight intelligently, not just talk shit foe 15 minutes hoping to troll his way to a victory.
Kevin Holland just plays too much so unless he takes things seriously he’ll be out of the company soon.
Michal Oleksiejczuk has won only 1 of his last 3 fights, he’s no prize pig himself. Not nearly as bad as Holland but he certainly has some work to do.
Sean Strickland vs Paulo Costa
Seems like Costa hasn’t fought in forever or is it just me? He’s lost 3 of his last 4 fights so maybe after this he won’t be fighting again at all. I don’t believe in Costa, he’s really gonna have to show me something this weekend to change my mind.
Strickland’s January loss to the other DDP is currently what he’s known for. He didn’t even get an immediate rematch which shows you how much work he has to do to get back to the title picture. Strickland is more focused on social media trolling than kicking another man’s ass, that’s why his waste is naked.
Islam Makhachev vs Dustin Poirier
Porier needs a lucky punch to land, he’s got the power but I don’t know that he has the superior gameplan to land that punch.
Islam desperately wants to add Porier to his list of victims after he silenced the doubters by soundly defeating Alexander Volkanovski. I have to put my money on Makhachev. I usually bet on the guys that are known for Knockouts but Dustin has to prove it to me in this fight like Islam proved it to me last fight; prove that he can knockout a total badass. Doesn’t matter what he’s done, it only matters that he needs to prove it again, in this fight.
Entertaining is an understatement, this fight will be an instant classic if it makes it out of the second round.
Final take
The cars is top heavy but worth the money. I hope the undercard can provide some much needed support. I can’t wait until the main card, the last 3 fights are going to be absolute BANGERS! If you’re watching make sure you do so out at a bar and get festive, this is fonna be one you socialize during.
