3 Fights To Watch UFC FIGHT NIGHT: HOLLOWAY VS. RODRIGUEZ

  • Max Holloway vs Yair Rodríguez

We all got our money on Max but what if I told you that Yair Rodriguez has what it takes to derail Max’s surge to the title picture? I’d probably be lying. Rodríguez only has 2 losses so it’s not as if he’s some bum with an 8 – 18 record. This could be the chance Yair needs to prove he belongs. These guys are the same age so Rodríguez is looking at years of fighting ahead of him and perhaps this is the fight that propels him into the title picture. Yair Rodríguez is no slouch however, Max has been on a different level than everyone since losing to Alexander Volkanovski the second time. However, Max could be overlooking Yair.

  • Ben Rothwell vs Marcos Rogério de Lima

This should be fun, somebody might go night night. Not every fight is going to be a technical masterpiece. Some fights are going to be slugfest, this is one of those fights. I think Marcos is going to KO Rothwell. Rothwell is at the end so he is going to do everything he can to come out on top before it’s all said and done. It’s Big Ben, you gotta watch it!

  • Felicia Spencer vs Leah Letson

Spencer needs to get back on track with this one. Losing by decision is tough but when one of those losses is to a G.O.A.T. like Amanda Nunes, it’s a blessing. Felicia Spencer has a chance to carve a path back into the title picture, it all starts here. Leah Letson has no hope, she’s just a stepping stone. That may seem harsh but it’s the truth, you don’t have to like it but you do have to accept it. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe Letson has a good showing and makes it a real fight…that’s not why we’re watching though. We are watching to see the improvements, if any, that Spencer has made in order to climb back into the championship hunt.
