Tonight Dominick Reyes and Chris Weidman will fight in the main event of UFC Boston. Who wins?

I think Weidman wins by decision in a fight in which he is very careful and methodical because he wants to win. He has no choice because things haven’t been going his way lately. He’s lost a lot recently so he’ll want to do everything he can to win here. Plus, there’s also the very real possibility that he gets a title shot if he wins this fight. That might sound crazy but this is the UFC here so anything’s possible. I don’t think the fight will be all that good but Weidman should win.

There are always big questions when a fighter moves up a weight class and Chris Weidman’s case is no different. Things went terribly for Luke Rockhold with his light heavyweight move this summer and I think Weidman may meet a similar fate. I think Reyes wins the fight with a late round TKO.

I generally favor a fighter in their debut in a new weight class. However, I cannot pick Weidman here. I don’t feel that Weidman’s problems at middleweight were entirely tied to fighting at 185. This fight feels like a Jon Jones eliminator, and Reyes will win that prize.
