I’ll go with RDA by TKO in the 3rd round. I think his pressure and striking will lead to him getting the victory. Edwards is tough but I think RDA will just pour it on relentlessly. I could see Edwards forcing the fight to go the distance but I think RDA will get the stoppage in an exciting fight.

I think Rafael dos Anjos will beat Leon Edwards easily enough. Edwards needs to get slept by Masvidal and then go away. I just don’t see Edwards as a top guy right now. I don’t know where Rafael dos Anjos goes after a win or a loss to be honest. I believe Masvidal would probably win if they fought, but I’m sure Rafael would not be bullied.

I have RDA in this fight. The performance against Kevin Lee was impressive and I think reaffirms a truism around dos Anjos these last few years. The only losses he takes are to the very elite of the respective divisions that he has frequented. At lightweight, he lost to Eddie Alvarez and Tony Ferguson while at welterweight he lost to interim champion Colby Covington and present titlist Kamaru Usman. Leon Edwards is the younger fighter and has got some solid statement wins as of late. I just think RDA will be able to keep up the pace with Edwards. Also, dos Anjos has more options to create significant moments in the grappling and striking as compared to Edwards who favors more of a volume focused, grinding approach. Rafael dos Anjos will advance to a two-fight win streak this weekend.

This is a tight matchup but I give the edge to Rafael dos Anjos here. He uses distance well and will be able to handle himself wherever the fight goes. It’s a quick turnaround for dos Anjos so he should be able to ride the momentum of his May win over Kevin Lee and pick up a decision win here over Leon Edwards.
