Tonight, Jon Jones and Thiago Santos meet for the light heavyweight title at UFC 239. Who wins?

I think Santos has a narrow window early in the fight to blitz Jones and stop him. I don’t think he’ll do that, though, and Jones wins by decision. I don’t think Jones will be aggressive and go for the finish, instead opting for the safer decision.

Jon Jones because life sucks and cheaters prosper. Santos doesn’t have the tools, he just has the talent. Jones will impose his will and his disgusting fanbase will rejoice while he sits in a hotel room breaking every rule possible, he probably turns the toilet paper the wrong way too, just to make sure he covers even the unwritten rules.

Obviously there is chance that Santos’ heavy power can catch Jones and make history. If we have learned anything, this version of Jones does a fantastic job of neutralizing dangerous fighters. It might not be the most aesthetically pleasing style, but it gets the job done.
