UFC Fight Night 153 Preview and Start Time

Cole Henry, MMATorch Contributor

The UFC returns to Stockholm, Sweden for UFC Fight Night 153, which features a home country hero, Alexander Gustafsson taking on recent title challenger, Anthony “Lionheart” Smith. This will be the first fight back for both men after losses in title fights to Jon Jones, and while the path to a rematch will be daunting, it will begin for whichever man emerges as the victor tomorrow.

The card also features several other prominent European fighters including Jimi Manuwa, Makwan Amirkhani, Damir Hadzovic, Darko Stosic, and others.  The card was dealt an unfortunate blow with the news that Ilir Latifi was injured and withdrawing from his scheduled bout with Volkan Oezdemir. As a result, Oezdemir has been removed from the card after it was determined that a suitable replacement could not be found on such short notice.
