Who wins Saturday’s Bareknuckle Fight between Artem Lobov and Jason Knight?

David McGrath, Host – MMATorch Today Podcast

I am not going to pretend to know Jason Knight, but I am rooting for him against Artem Lobov.

Frank Hyden, Columnist – The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

I’ll go with Knight. To be honest, I haven’t been following much of this bare-knuckle stuff so I could be completely wrong. I just don’t think Lobov can get it done but I guess we’ll see.

Sean Covington, Columnist – Covington’s Corner

Artem Lobov all the way. He can take a ton of punishment and he can dish out almost as much as he can take. I think Artem Lobov will thrive in this new setting and environment. This should be more of Lobov’s style and suit him very well. Jason Knight has lost 4 straight fights and I don’t think his luck is turning around anytime soon. Knight may have changed organizations but he hasn’t changed his stripes, such a shame. Jason Knight has to do what it takes to get back to his winning ways, he’s young and only has 6 losses but he accumulated those losses rather quickly. Artem should finish Knight but if somehow Artem is finished; he’s FINISHED.

Patrick Shaheen, Host – MMA Scope Podcast

This is a personal insult, the Russian Hammer has never lost a bare-knuckle fight and never will. This is #1 bullshit, choo-choo mother f*ckers. Jason Kight!? Who tha fook is that guy? (I know who Jason knight is).

NEXT: HOW DID DEMETRIOUS JOHNSON AND EDDIE ALVAREZ DO IN THEIR ONE DEBUTS?

Michael Hiscoe, MMATorch Managing Editor

I could do a lot of Artem Lobov GOAT jokes here but Patrick beat me to it, so I’ll try and play this straight. Both Lobov and Jason Knight went on bad losing streaks to end their UFC runs. Knight, for a period of time, was looking like he could turn in to something but for whatever reason, it never panned out. Lobov was always pushed beyond his ability due to his ties to Conor McGregor. Knight has been deducted points for biting his opponent’s fingers so Lobov needs to be careful in this gloveless fight. Realistically though, I think Knight wins this fight but all we’ll be talking about is whatever happens with Lobov and Paulie Malignaggi afterward.
