Elias Theodorou def. Trevor Smith via Unanimous Decision

Molly McCann vs. Gillian Robertson (Flyweight/125)

Round 1: After some back and forth action Gillian Robertson scores a takedown and is threatening with submissions from the mount. She has the back and is looking for a rear naked choke and Molly McCann could be in trouble here. 10-9 Robertson

Round 2: McCann lands a jab and follows it up with a straight right. Robertson gets another takedown after a scramble, and she easily moves into the mount from there. She has the back again and this is looking like a re-run of the first round. She is looking for a rear naked choke and its in and Molly McCann is out!

Result: Gillian Robertson def. Molly McCann via Submission (Rear Naked Choke) Round 2, 2:05

Brad Scott vs. Carlo Pedersoli (Welterweight)

Round 1: Pedersoli connects first with a left body kick. Inside low kick by Scott knocks Pedersoli off balance but he recovers quickly. Pedersoli was called up to the UFC after a recent win over UFC vet Nic Dalby. Brad Scott throws a left hand down the center but Pedersoli gets out of the way and lands a flailing left hook. Both guys are just standing in front of each other for the most part. Flying knee attempt by Pedersoli but Scott counters with the overhand right and Pedersoli is down but he’ll survive. 10-9 Scott

Round 2: Pedersoli is using a lazy jab to throw a head kick and he’s doing it repeatedly. The strikes are coming slow, and Scott is just avoiding them. Brad Scott whiffs on a right hand and Pedersoli connects with a body kick. Scott lands an inside low kick, but he is just throwing single strikes at this point and looks like he could be fading. Pedersoli is keeping a steady pace. Scott staggers him with an inside low kick, but it doesn’t lead to much else. Pedersoli reminds me of McGregor with some of his kicks. They are flashy but don’t really seem set up to land and he is having more success with his punches than anything. 10-9 Pedersoli

Round 3: The kicks are starting to land a little more for Pedersoli. He has a pretty wide range of kicks in his arsenal. He is landing the left body kick with success, but Scott isn’t doing anything to get out of the line. Pedersoli secures a body lock and drag Brad Scott down. Scott is trying to work off his back, but he will run out of time. Impressive debut for the Italian. 10-9 Pedersoli (29-28 Pedersoli)

Result: Carlo Pedersoli def. Brad Scott via Split Decision

(14)Lina Lansberg vs. (15)Gina Mazany (Women’s Bantamweight/135)

Round 1: They are working against the cage early with Mazany controlling most of the action. Lots of cage work so far. The ref steps in and we get a separation with 25 seconds left in the round. Close round 10-9 Mazany

Round 2: Mazany grabs two under hooks early but Lansberg puts her against the fence and is landing some knees and short punches. We get another separation. Mazany shoots for a takedown and scores a double leg. We’re back against the fence. Lansberg lands some hard knees in the final seconds and an elbow as the round ends. 10-9 Lansberg

Round 3: Mazany is controlling the fight against the fence. Lansberg is starting to show signs that she could be tired. Mazany is landing a short left hook each time they exchange, and she is just a bit quicker to the punch over all. Lansberg takes control with a pair of under hooks and puts Mazany against the fence with a few seconds remaining. 10-9 Mazany (29-28 Mazany)

Result: Lina Lansberg def. Gina Mazany via Unanimous Decision

Tom Breese vs. Dan Kelly (Middleweight/185)

Round 1: Tom Breese is having success early with the jab and straight right. The speed advantage is obvious early. Breese is having a lot of success with the jab. He lands a stiff uppercut and Kelly appears to be hurt! He is back peddling with his hand over his eye. Breese is attacking, and Kelly drops to the mat and turtles. Nice comeback for Breese who hasn’t fought in nearly two years.

Result: Tom Breese def. Dan Kelly via TKO (Punch) Round 1, 3:33

Eric Spicely vs. Darren Stewart (Middleweight/185)

Round 1: Spicely lands a big right hand at the end of a combination and grabs a leg for a single. Stewart is defending well though and is using the fence to stay on his feet. Despite prior notions that Stewart would have the advantage on the feet it seems like Spicely is more comfortable there early though Stewart is having success with the jab. 10-9

Round 2: Stewart is landing early. He lands a hard-left hand and Spicely is down! Stewart is attacking and its all over!

Result: Darren Stewart def. Eric Spicely via TKO (Punches) Round 2, 1:47

Nordine Taleb vs. Claudio Silva (Welterweight/170)

Round 1: Taleb was having some success early but an ill-advised kneebar attempt led to Claudio Silva getting the mount and landing some big ground and pound. Taleb tried rolling out but Silva rolled with him and took the back. Taleb had no defense and tapped. That was the first fight for Claudio Silva since 2014.

Result: Claudio Silva def. Nordine Taleb via Submission (Rear Naked Choke/Jaw Crank) Round 1, 4:47

Makwan Amirkhani def. Jason Knight via Split Decision (Featherweight/145)

I had something come up, so I couldn’t properly cover this fight, but it was a good one and worth a watch if you can manage it.

Arnold Allen vs. Mads Burnell (Featherweight/145)

Round 1: Mads Burnell is looking good on the feet early. He lands a hard body kick that got Allen moving. Good head movement by Mads Burnell, Arnold Allen is landing much of anything. Allen lands a straight left, and Burnell changes level for a double leg and completes it. They briefly stand back up but Burnell takes him right back down. Impressive stuff by Burnell so far. 10-9 Burnell

Round 2: Burnell gets a takedown early and he is working in the half guard. Allen is working his hips trying to get up but Burnell is maintaining control. Fairly uneventful round. 10-9 Burnell

Round 3: Burnell looks for the takedown and gets it early. Arnold Allen hasn’t been able to show much of anything up to now. Mads Burnell changes levels and Arnold Allen slaps on a front headlock type thing, maybe a front choke and Burnell taps! Wow that was crazy! He just wasn’t doing anything up until that choke!

Result: Arnold Allen def. Mads Burnell via Submission (Front Choke) Round 3, 2:41

Neil Magny def. Craig White via TKO at 4:32 of Round 1

Stephen Thompson vs. Darren Till (Welterweight/170)

Round 1: Long feeling out process at the beginning of the round. Thompson lands a nice straight right and then a shot to the stomach of Till. 10-10 Draw

Round 2: Both men come out with more aggression. Wonderboy is doing a good job of staying off the fence. Nice body kick by Thompson. Thompson rushes forward but Till grabs a clinch and lands a few hard knees before they separate. They are picking shots here, Wonderboy is escaping every time Till throws but he isn’t landing a ton of shots himself. 10-9 Thompson but really these could go either way. Very close rounds with limited output right now.

Round 3: Thompson lands a nice body kick with 3 minutes remaining in the round. Lots of respect being shown by both guys. Thompson is allowing Till to set up and then making him miss but he just isn’t landing much of his own. Hard to say how the judges are seeing this fight. Both guys land big right hands. Thompson lands a multi punch combo and finishes it with a head kick that just misses Darren Till. Till gets poked in the eye and we get a brief pause but back to the action and they are both swinging. 10-9 Thompson: He is just landing more shots but Till is controlling the octagon. This is an interesting fight to score.

Round 4: Slow round but Darren Till largely controlled the pace. 10-9 Till

Round 5: Thompson is showing signs of fatigue and confusion. Till is the aggressor at this point, but Thompson lands a nice body kick backing up. Till lands a big left hand and Thompson is down! He’s back on his feet but he was hurt. Till is stalking but Wonderboy is always dangerous. Thompson lands a nice right hand. Thompson shoots a double leg and gets it, but they are right back on the feet. 10-9 Till

Result: Darren Till def. Stephan Thompson via Unanimous Decision
