Who wins the Emmanuel Sanchez vs. Daniel Straus fight and why?

In his most recent fight opposite Patricio Freire, Daniel Straus looked rather tepid. With that said, I think Straus gets back on track against Emmanuel Sanchez. I feel that we do not have a full profile on Straus. It is difficult to judge Straus away from his series with Freire. However, this fight could help fulfill that profile.

Emmanuel Sanchez has picked up some big wins in Bellator, but Daniel Straus will likely be his biggest test to date. He has a habit of winning close fights, and while the judges have sided in his favor recently, I think that changes against Daniel Straus. Straus is a former two-time Bellator Featherweight Champion, and a stifling wrestler. I think that wrestling will be enough to get the job done for Straus, and I think he wins the fight by a Unanimous Decision.

I’m going with Straus by decision. I think he’ll ugly it up and grind out a hard-fought decision. It might not be the most exciting fight, and it might even go to a split decision, but I think Straus will do just enough to get the win.
