XFO Outdoor War 12’s Brian Peterson says it’s “time for me to deliver” in XFO Heavyweight Title bout

XFO brings their biggest card of the year to Sideouts in Island Lake, IL for an amazing 12th year tomorrow, Saturday August 6! The “Outdoor War 12” show will feature a total of 32 professional and amateur bouts, including a heavyweight main event for the XFO Heavyweight Championship between Midwest Training Center’s Brian “Killer B” Peterson and Kihon MMA’s own Eli Strong.
“It is something that I earned through hard work and sacrifice,” Peterson said of his main event slot. “I am extremely grateful for the opportunity, and it is time for me to deliver.
“[I’m feeling] extremely confident!” he added regarding the matchup itself, predicting a ground and pound TKO victory. “I truly believe that I train at one of the best gyms in the country and I will not face a better opponent tomorrow then what I see in my gym on a daily basis.”
There will also be another induction into the XFO Legends. Multiple time competitor Mike Marrello joins the famed group that includes Pat and Jeff Curran, Clay Guida, Bart Palaszewski, Felice Herrig, and Daniel Straus, to name a few. Marrello has had memorable bouts in XFO as well as a stint on the Ultimate Fighter season 7. With some exceptional fights in the XFO cage, Marello very deserving of his spot among the legends.
