Jon Jones has returned to Twitter for the first time since his failed USADA test results came in, and he’s vowing to clear his name and eventually make his comeback.

Responding to one fan accusing him of throwing everything away and another commenting on his eventual return, Jones had the following to say:

Jones received a temporary suspension from the Nevada Athletic Commission on Monday following his failed out of competition test by USADA for two estrogen blockers. He faces discipline from the both USADA and the commission itself.

Penick’s Analysis: I don’t know how much faith Jones can have in the system seeing what’s happened in the past with the Nevada commission, and no matter what defense they put forth fans won’t be quick to buy his explanation. Things are perhaps irreparably changed for Jones moving forward, even if he gets some type of reduced suspension with successfully arguing (or proving) that one of his supplements had these substances in them off label.
